SermonCoach ("we," "us," or "our") is a sermon feedback tool built for pastors and preachers. Our app is available at sermoncoachapp.com. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at nick@thepeacewell.com.

2. What We Collect

We collect the following information when you use SermonCoach:

• Account information: Your name and email address, provided either directly or via Google Sign-In.
• Sermon content: Audio files, transcripts, podcast RSS feeds, or YouTube links you submit for analysis.
• Church context: Optional information about your church you provide to customize reports.
• Usage data: Basic information about how you use the app, such as reports generated and features accessed.
• Billing information: Handled entirely by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your payment card details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Generate sermon feedback reports using AI
• Maintain and improve your account
• Send you your reports and account-related emails
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Improve the quality and accuracy of our service

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

SermonCoach uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Anthropic (Claude AI): Your sermon content is sent to Anthropic's API to generate feedback. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing.
• Groq: Used for audio transcription. Audio content may be processed by Groq's servers.
• Vercel: Hosts the SermonCoach application and database.
• Resend: Used to send transactional emails such as report deliveries and account notifications.
• Stripe: Handles all payment processing. We do not store card details on our servers.
• Google: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google's OAuth service. We do not access your Gmail, Drive, or any other Google data.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and sermon reports for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us at nick@thepeacewell.com.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

SermonCoach is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes by email or by a notice in the app. Continued use of SermonCoach after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
